STUDENT TESTIMONIAL

“I’m so happy to be a part of this community. YAA W has been an amazing platform. I joined the Our Girls, Our Future 2020 program as a member of the finance track. After the empowerment series week, we had an intensive 5 weeks of lectures with amazing facilitators using resources from the CFI Institute. It was a great experience – had the opportunity to network with women from around the continent and develop my skills and knowledge in finance.Thank you Yielding Accomplished African Women for a wonderful experience" - Blessing (Alumna)

“The Women Empowerment Week was an amazing experience that keeps playing backin my thoughts. This is where I learnt to “do it scared”. Through YAAW, my dream of becoming a Financial Analyst is gradually coming to a fruition. Every fellow in the Our Girls, Our Future program is assigned a mentor. I want to use this opportunity to thank my mentor, Miss Foyinsola Bolade of Goldman Sachs for her efforts on guiding me through my career path. Yielding Accomplished African Women is a full package - the fun breakout sessions, career sessions, mentoring sessions, empowerment sessions and educative sessions”- Getrude (Alumna)

“Yielding Accomplished African Women provided me with the necessary skills in finance such as financial modeling using excel, presentation and communication skills which helped me land 2 internship offers a week after the program. YAA W has inspired me to challenge myself to try new things and pursue greater opportunities in finance to advance my career. To me, YAA W is home - a place of comfort, empowerment, peace and encouragement to achieve ones future goals through education, training and building strong self-esteem.” - Abena (Alumna)
